Didier Drogba Sign Chelsea

Didier Drogba is set to sign a 1 year contract extension with Chelsea and will be at Stamford Bridge untill 2013.

Drogba said in the statement "We've started talking and it's very interesting. Everybody knows what I feel about Chelsea and what I want," he said.

"I will definitely be here next season. I said a few years ago that I will be here until the end of my contract, and I am here.

"Now I need to keep playing well here and giving my best, like I always try to do. This will be my eighth season at this club and it means a lot for any striker to stay that long at Chelsea."

Milan chiefs want to relieve some pressure on Zlatan Ibrahimovic by signing feature striker and they see the Chelsea forward as the perfect man for their squad.

The 33years old Ivorian has lost his starting place at Stamford Bridge following the purchase of Fernando Torres, and he is now apparently looking to leave the club.

However, Milan face a hard rivalry from Tottenham, who have been tracking the Ivorian during the last few years.
Drogba is now entering the final year of his contract, meaning that Chelsea will be hoping to cash in on him this summer.
