Modric will Stay at Tottenham this Summer

Luka Modric will stay at Tottenham but Chelsea are still eager to sign the player.

Modric has shown his interest  that wants to move to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea had made two bids that are already being rejected and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy confirmed that the Croatia international will not move on at any price.

On Saturday, Harry Redknapp said in his statement that Spurs "not going to sell their best players" and Van der Vaart is elated to hear that Modric is set to remain at Tottenham.

Van derVaart "I'm really happy that Luka is going to stay he's an important player for us," he told Sky Sports News. "Almost every day we ask him to stay and say, 'Have a great season - then you can go!'

Manchester City enter race for Modric?

According to British media, Manchester City has entered the race to sign Croatian footballer Luka Modric, who has the same source and the target of Manchester United and Chelsea.

Manchester United and Chelsea both are keen for Luka Modric and are ready to triple the wages of Croatia midfielder Luka Modric to entice him to leave Tottenham.

Modric, 25, would cost about 30 million pounds , with both clubs all set to pay him 130,000 pounds-a-week net .
