and his family have fled to London. Protestors took to the streets in their masses as promised. The police and security forces responded with brutality and ruthless violence, which is only reserved for outlawed criminal gangs . Internet, data and mobile services have been cut.
The actions of the police and security forces incited the protestors to respond by setting fire to tyres, cars and finally government buildings.
The brutality of the authorities' is unprecedented. In a disturbing incident, CNN reporters were attacked by the secret (plain clothes Police) and their cameras stolen together with the footage. One CNN reporter recalls a disturbing and unsavory incident, "a female protestor is dragged off by her hair , taken to a side street and sexually assaulted by the police in full public view".
This account of the ladies treatment was widely aired and is living testimony to the reprehensible, indifferent, barbaric, criminal treatment of citizens by the authorities. Such violations warrant independent investigations and must never pass with out accountability.
As our sources previously informed us, Mubarak in a desperate and worried state has indeed called upon the army to stop the protests and the deafening outcry for Mubarak to step down.
"Mubarak's actions today will never be forgotten" said Mona from Alexandria, "we have lost all respect for him, the Egyptian people will always hate him and we will never stop demanding he leave us alone, we don't want him, we just want change we are not criminals for him to treat us like this, why? Why does he treat us like animals".
The protests took place in all major cities of Egypt, the domino effect has spread to Yemen further alarming the USA. It is now evident, the fear of Islamic dominance and rise in Middle Eastern terrorists is giving way to the need for change and true democracy.
BBC reporter sited, "the need to suppress Islamic insurgencies and the influence of Iran is given priority over the voices of the masses"
There is no doubt it is a delicate balancing act, the fear of the USA is if Mubarak falls, the vacuum in Egypt will quickly be filled by radical Islamists funded and encouraged by Iran. Iran is the main supporter of Hezbollah and Hamas. Whilst no one wants to see any of the Arab states fall into the hands of Islamists, the people of those nations are paying an expensive price for the stealth strategy to keep them in check. Muslims and Non Muslim alike are suffering suppression and poverty because of the radical Islamist elements in the Middle East.
We have also been informed, that Mubarak has totally withdrawn the police and Security forces, the fully trained and armed ARMY is now in charge. The protestors are no match for the far superior armed forces in army vehicles. At the same time reports of wide spread looting are coming through. Concern has been raised for Egypt's museums and other antiquities centers
We are also told the governing party building has been set on fire, a crowd surrounded the central radio and television building, and dozens of cars set ablaze. At least 1100 people have been injured, many with bullet wounds, some seriously.
We have just received unconfirmed reports that Mubarak and his family have fled to London.
The Egyptian protests have brought to light the consequences of Islamic terrorism, Whilst in the west we are targeted and go to extraordinary security measures, in the Arab states democracy is forsaken in a desperate bid to stem and kerb islamists and terrorists. One reporter noted it is not just the west paying the price of Islamic terrorists.
The phones of our sources are now unavailable, and it is suspected some land line services have been suspended.
