INS‘VINDHYAGIRI’ DASHED THE ‘NORD LAKE’ SHIP AT MUMBAI HARBOUR

On return to Coast after completing the ‘Annual Day At Sea’ celebrations yesterday on Arabian sea with 400 Navy personnel and their family members in INS Vindhyagiri the Indian war ship at Mumbai Coast, it collided with an American based merchant ship ‘Nord Lake’ which was leaving the Mumbai Harbor, near Sunk Clock resulting in raise of blazes in both ships, which was doused after five hours effort by Fire Service personnel. But no casualties or injuries oil spill were reported. Inquiry is ordered into the accident by Higher authorities
