Sony Corp's new handheld gaming device codenamed "NGP" is displayed at the company's strategy briefing event in Tokyo

Sony revealed the latest handheld, NGP (Next Generation Portable) a few hours ago at the media event in Tokyo. The new handheld is set to release in June. It is the new successor of the PSP and its functions are reported to be far better.

The NGP is considered slightly smaller than the PSP in size. It includes a state of the art CPU along with a five inch OLED touch screen. The NGP consists of a front camera as well as a rear camera. It has built-in stereo speakers, a microphone, a six-axis motion sensing system, a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi facility.

Around 32 games will available by the time of its launch. Sony is very confident about the creation of its latest handheld. They believe that it will have a better response at the launch than the PSP did. Gamers are worried about the price tag which has not been revealed yet.
