A powerful bomb detonated at Gate No. 5 of the New Delhi High Court this morning at around 10.15 am and killed 9 persons while injures have been inflicted on at least 27 others. The death toll could increase.
The bomb was hidden in a briefcase and left at the gate. The blast occurred when people were queuing up at the gate to obtain entry passes for entry into the premises for carrying out their legal businesses. The police are not ruling out the involvement of terrorist organizations.
