Samsung will release a new tablet with Microsoft Os

South Korean group Samsung Electronics will release a new digital tablet under Windows, reported Thursday the Korea Economic Daily, citing a source familiar with the matter.

This tablet, equipped with the Windows operating system developed by Microsoft 8, will be presented at the "BUILD" organized by the American giant's 13 to 16 September in California.

Samsung Electronics, the second largest producer of mobile phones, has declined comment.

Analysts say South Korea wants to reduce its dependence on Android operating system Google after its acquisition by the American giant of internet mobile phone manufacturer Motorola Mobility.

This indeed marks the arrival of Google in the market of "hardware" (equipment), making it a serious potential competitor to Samsung in particular.

His main rival remains Apple. Both groups engaged a fierce legal battle over patents, market the iPhone smartphones (Apple) and Galaxy S (Samsung) and touch pads iPad (Apple) and Galaxy Tab (Samsung).
