NME a music magazine Awards Award Winners list

NME is a music magazine in the United Kingdom that has been around since 1952. In 1953 the NME Awards were created. Since that time, NME has expanded to a website, TV, and mobile units.

On February 23, NME held their annual Awards presentation at the O2 Academy Brixton in London. Chemical Romance opened the evening’s festivities; while the Foo Fighters closed the show. Other performances came from PJ Harvey, Crystal Castles, and Hurts were among the night’s performers.

Muse and Matt Bellamy were repeat winners, Bellamy for the fourth time. Grammy and Brit Award winners Arcade Fire added to their trophy collection; as did Brit Award winner Justin Bieber.
