An internet rumour is sweeping the world that 33-year old WWF Star and actor John Cena was shot dead after receiving 17 gun shot wounds when his 4x4 Jeep Cherokee was hijacked by thugs near his home. Fans will be relieved to know that this is not true. Cena announced this himself on his Twitter account. “CeNation. Apparently last night I was shot dead by a group of thugs. I also was apparently owned by the rock. Both just internet rumor. :)”
Other recent internet rumours claim that comedian Jim Carrey died while snowboarding in Switzerland, Facebook has made all members' phone numbers accessible to the public and that Barack and Michelle Obama won't be invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding because the British royal family considers the Obamas "low class" and "tacky."
With so much real excitement from Muammar Gaddafi, why do people feel the need to create these rumours?
